City Sign Sam Habergham On Two-Year Deal

We are delighted to announce the signing of left-back Sam Habergham on a two-year contract.

Doncaster-born Habergham started out as a youngster with Norwich City before serving his scholarship at Carrow Road. He was rewarded with his first professional contract with the Canaries at the end of June 2009.

Released at the end of the 2010/11 season, the 24-year-old played once at Sincil Bank for the Imps’ reserves in April 2011 but ended up joining Tamworth three months later.

After a year with Tamworth he moved to Braintree Town and became a integral part of the Iron squad over the course of the next four seasons, receiving recognition at England C level in the process.

He becomes our third summer signing, following the recent acquisitions of former Braintree colleagues Alex Woodyard and Taylor Miles.
