Striker Liam Hearn has today joined Barrow AFC on loan until the New Year.
Hearn, who has scored eight goals from 17 appearances for City so far this season, links up with Paul Cox, his former manager at Mansfield Town, who this week took over the reins at Barrow following the departure of Darren Edmonson.
"Liam requested the move in a bid to gain maximum game time as he feels as though he will have a better chance of doing this at Barrow rather than with us," said manager Chris Moyses.
Hearn will be with Barrow until 4 January 2016. Permission has not been granted for him to play in the FA Trophy whilst he will also be unable to play against City for the Bluebirds in the Vanarama National League match at Sincil Bank on Saturday 19 December.
