Muldoon Puts Pen To Paper

Jack Muldoon has become Chris Moyses' latest acquisition, with the forward signing an initial one-year contract following his release by League One Rochdale

The 26-year-old was a youth team player at home town club Scunthorpe United before impressing in the lower leagues for the likes of Brigg Town, Sheffield FC, Glapwell, Alfreton Town, Stocksbridge Park Steels, North Ferriby United and Worksop Town.

A superb 2013/14 season, which saw him score 21 league goals for Worksop, attracted interest from Football League clubs and he subsequently made the move to Rochdale on a one-year deal.

He made his Dale debut against Walsall in the Football League Trophy whilst his Football League bow came in November at Port Vale but having struggled to break into the first team at Spotland, was loaned out to FC Halifax Town during the second half of last season, scoring twice in eight starts for the Shaymen.
