Wrexham's Waterfall Joins On Two-Year Deal

Luke Waterfall has become our second signing of the week with the centre-back joining from Wrexham on a two-year contract.

The highly-rated Waterfall started out a youngster with Barnsley and made his first class debut as a teenager for Tranmere Rovers before being released in the summer of 2009.

The 24-year-old spent the next four seasons plying his trade in the National League North for Ilkeston Town and then Gainsborough Trinity before returning to the Football League with Scunthorpe United.

With first team opportunities at League One level limited at Glanford Park, Waterfall spent last season on loan at both Macclesfield Town and Mansfield Town before signing a permanent deal with Wrexham in January.
