Defender Davies Joins On Loan

Central defender Tom Davies has joined the Club on an initial month-long loan deal from Fleetwood Town.

A former Manchester United and Blackburn Rovers youth player, Davies spent two years playing for Team Northumbria whilst completing a University degree in Newcastle before signing for FC United of Manchester.

Joining Fleetwood in March 2014, Davies (22) was immediately loaned back to FC United until the end of the campaign as they aimed for promotion whilst he spent two months in the Vanarama Conference with Alfreton Town earlier this season.

Handed the number 28 squad shirt, Warrington-born Davies will go straight into the City squad for Tuesday night's trip to his former club Alfreton.
