The James Usher Crossbar Challenge

Saturday will see the next running of the James Usher & Son Crossbar Challenge, which gives fans a chance to win big courtesy of the Lincoln jewellers.

Tickets, costing only £1, will be on sale around the stadium before Saturday's game against Southport and during the first half there will be a draw when three tickets will be pulled out.

The winning numbers will be displayed on the Stacey West scoreboard during the first half and the the holders of the winning tickets will be invited onto the hallowed turf during the half-time interval to have a go at hitting the crossbar with one kick of a football from within the centre circle.

The prize, should one of the lucky winners hit the crossbar, is a £1,300 voucher for James Usher & Son Jewellers. If nobody hits the crossbar then this then £100 will be added to the prize for the next fixture.

Also, and new for this season, if you have one of the three winning tickets you can now nominate someone else to take your kick for you! The prize should you wish to nominate anyone else, however, will be fixed at a maximum of £250.

Anyone purchasing a ticket to take part in the Cross Bar Challenge will also be able to get a 5% reduction at James Usher & Son Jewellers if they take the ticket stub along to the shop when making a single purchase (terms & conditions apply).
