Forget Luis Suárez, Alvaro Negredo and Olivier Giroud, our Academy star Matt Cotton has shown that he knows a thing or two about scoring spectacular goals!
Cotton has been shortlisted in League Football Education’s (LFE) Goal of the Month competition for December with his effort against in the Youth Alliance Cup tie against Wigan Athletic being amongst the 10 contenders.
Sam Humphreys' sparkling strike for Oxford United took the plaudits last month and there is no shortage of quality this time around in what promises to be one of the fiercest competitions on record.
