At the recent home game against Chester, the Sport & Education Trust launched its Inspiring Lives Appeal and on the day raised £501.11 through the fantastic generosity of the supporters.
Lincoln City FC Sport & Education Trust have set up this appeal to support local people who are either disabled or living in areas of deprivation and we could not have asked for a better response from the Club.
Trust Manager Paul Hamnett commented: "It is great to see the fans get behind what we are trying to do. We are trying to make a difference in the local community and we want the Club to be at the centre of this.
"We do a lot of work in the city and county, far greater than some League clubs, and we make a difference to many people lives on a daily basis. The Inspring Lives Appeal will only add to this and we hope as it grows more people will donate to what we are doing."
The next stage of the Appeal is already in motion as a raffle is planned and also, LCFCSET have two individuals running the Lincoln 10K, Sport & Education Trust Chairman and Club Director Kevin Cooke and Becky Hamnett, the wife of Trust Manager Paul.
