Youth Day Celebration On Monday

Our Blue Square Premier fixture with Cambridge United on Monday will play host to a number of youth-focussed activities to celebrate the continued success of the club's Youth Academy.

During the half-time interval, we will be introducing the latest players to have been offered a Scholarship next season, as well as welcoming our newest recruits who will begin their journey with us as Under 9's next year.

Plus, there will be a showcase Academy game at half-time featuring our current Under 9 squad, while our Under 14s will be proudly parading the 2013 Valley Parade U14 winners trophy which they won this weekend. And well done to our Under 12 squad who finished third in their age group in Saturday's tournament, which is hosted by Bradford City to remember those who lost their lives in the Bradford Fire in 1985.

The game will also see popular ex-Imp Dean West formally unveiled as the Academy's Ambassador as the Youth Department also launches the Future Imps Fund, an exciting new initiative designed to raise awareness and much-needed revenue to help sustain and develop its work in years to come.

We hope you can join us to not only cheer on the Imps but also help celebrate the work of our Academy. And for more on the Future Imps Fund please visit or email
