Defender Sean Newton will be forced to miss the Boxing Day home game against Grimsby Town due to suspension.
Newton, an ever-present so far this season, picked up his fifth yellow card of the campaign during Saturday's 3-3 draw at Chester and has been handed a one-match ban as a result.
With the suspension coming into immediate effect, this rules him out of the local derby against the Mariners at Gelder Group Sincil Bank Stadium on Thursday.
