Thomas Completes Pro Signing

Teenage striker Jordan Thomas has completed the signing of a two-year professional contract.

The youngest player to feature for the Imps in first team competitive football when he came on as a substitute in a home game against Mansfield Town 12 months ago, Thomas has been in prolific form for the youth team this season, with his recent brace at Ilkeston taking his FA Youth Cup tally to nine in three games.

The Grantham-born striker worked his way through the Centre of Excellence since he joined five  years ago and follows Conner Robinson in becoming the second scholar to sign professional terms this season.

Thomas (17) officially put pen-to-paper on his contract prior to the FA Cup with Budweiser Fourth Qualifying Round tie against FC Halifax Town at The 12th Imp Sincil Bank Stadium with the Football Association and Football Conference confirming his signature on Monday.

He has chosen the vacant number 29 squad shirt.
