We would like to place on record our thanks to Drainwise for their hard work over the weekend in alleviating any flooding problems in the Co-op Stand.
Heavy rain has brought the level of the Sincil Drain close to the top and with the ground floor of the stand having already suffered from flooding problems earlier this year to the Red Imp Bar, Dancentre and the On Target Study Support Centre, the Club moved quickly to secure the services of Drainwise who have ensured the stand will be in a position to open as usual for Wednesday's local derby against Grimsby Town.
"Particular thanks go to Dean Watson of Drainwise, plus the LCFC ground staff, who have worked tirelessly to ensure the stadium will be ready to open on Boxing Day," said CEO Steve Prescott.
Supporters are reminded that the Grimsby game kicks off at 1.00pm on Boxing Day and it is all-ticket for visiting supporters only. Early Bird tickets for home fans will be in operation until 1.00pm today, Christmas Eve.
