A Football Association tribunal has decided that the Club must pay Gainsborough Trinity a five-figure fee for central defender Andrew Boyce.
With Boyce under the age of 24 it meant that Gainsborough were entitled to compensation and as the two clubs were unable to agree a fee, a tribunal duly took place.
That tribunal went ahead yesterday, August 16th 2012, at Wembley Stadium, with the outcome being that we must pay Gainsborough an undisclosed five-figure fee with a sell-on for the former Doncaster Rovers youngster's services.
"We're very happy with the outcome and can now officially welcome Andrew to the Football Club," said chairman Bob Dorrian.
"He's shown already that he boasts great potential and it goes without saying that we wish him every success during his time with us."
