City Women have completed the signing of Summa Betts from Nottingham Forest ahead of the 23/24 season.

Summa is Lee Mitchell’s third confirmed signing of the summer transfer window, with the season opener against Notts County just 11 days away.

She said: “I’m really excited to join City, it’s a good club, a great bunch of girls, and I’m really excited to get started.

“I’ve known about Lincoln for many years but obviously my football career took a different path, but now I’m glad to be here and I’m really looking forward to a new challenge, a new season ahead and to see what it brings.”

The Imps’ head coach Lee Mitchell added: “Summa is a great addition to our attack; she isn’t afraid to get on the ball and is full of energy.

“She constantly makes runs down the wing, and we are very much looking forward to seeing how she develops over the coming months.”
