Fans wanting to get their football fix this summer are being given an helping hand with an innovative “pay what you can afford” scheme to attend Lincoln City Women’s home pre-season games.

Lee Mitchell’s side open their pre-season campaign by taking on Huddersfield Town on Sunday 3 July, with anyone attending the match at Lincoln Moorlands invited to donate what they can afford to gain entry.

This policy - introduced in recognition of the cost of living crisis - will remain in place throughout pre-season, with Derby County, Leeds United, Hull City and Bradford City also heading to Lincolnshire for fixtures.
