City finalised their 2025/26 summer transfer window business with the loan capture of Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Dexter Lembikisa on deadline day. 

Despite his tender age, the right-back arrived at the LNER Stadium with a wealth of EFL experience under his belt having played in the Sky Bet Championship, Sky Bet League One and the Scottish Premiership with Rotherham United, Barnsley and Heart of Midlothian respectively. 

Lembikisa made his City debut in a 3-0 Vertu Trophy victory over Notts County in September, capping off a fine individual display by landing the Man of the Match award. 

The 22-year-old is also a senior Jamaica international, making his debut for his country against Trinidad and Tobago in March 2023. He has since gone on to win over 30 caps.
