Erik Ring arrived at City in the summer of 2024 on a long term contract.

The exciting wide player made the switch overseas from boyhood club AIK ,having come through their Academy, to the Imps. 

The Swedish U21 international made his debut in English football against Chesterfield in the EFL Trophy and ended the season with seven goal contributions after a good end to the campaign.

Ring made 19 appearances across all competitions in 2025/26, scoring two goals, including a wonderful solo effort away at Salford City in the FA Cup and another when the Imps hosted Manchester United U21’s in the EFL Trophy.
