Lincoln Women FC is on the lookout for a driven, qualified, and forward-thinking head coach to lead the team (Lincoln City) competing in the Premier Division of the East Midlands Women’s Football League.
This is a pivotal role within our women’s pathway — ideal for a coach passionate about developing players and preparing them for progression into our first team, who compete in the FA Women’s National League (Tier 4).
The role:
As head coach, you will:
- Lead all coaching, training, and matchday responsibilities for the Premier Division squad.
- Plan and deliver structured, high-quality sessions aligned with Lincoln Women FC’s playing philosophy.
- Support and mentor players with a clear focus on individual progression into the Tier 4 first team with the Tier 4 head coach.
- Collaborate with the wider coaching and performance team to ensure a joined-up approach across all levels.
- Foster a positive, inclusive and high-performance environment in line with the club’s values.
What we're looking for:
- Minimum: FA Level 2 (UEFA C) – UEFA B License preferred or working towards it.
- Proven experience in women’s, senior or youth development football.
- A strong track record of player development and long-term progression planning.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Willingness to commit to twice-weekly training (evenings) and Sunday matchdays.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with the East Midlands Women’s football structure and/or FAWNL.
- Valid First Aid and Safeguarding Children certifications (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience working in a club with a defined player pathway.
