Jack Moylan has praised the team effort as City made it 11 games unbeaten with an impressive 5-1 win at Barnsley.
The Irishman scored two wonderful goals after coming off the bench but was keen to credit his team-mates for the shift they also put in at Oakwell.
He said: “Around 30 minutes into the match Barnsley penned us in and the lads defended unbelievably which then gave us the platform to build on.
“Danny Mandroiu scored some goal. He was composed the whole way across the box, and it was a great finish and a great celebration from him.
“It’s a bittersweet moment as I would’ve loved a hat-trick but I am delighted for Jovon Makama who got his first league goal as he deserves it.”
Moylan is also pleased to have been given the opportunity to show what he is capable of and hopes that the team can carry this momentum forward into the next few matches.
He added: “You have got to be ready to come on and bring energy into the game.
“I like to dribble and like to be a street footballer. Football’s supposed to be fun and you’re supposed to express yourself, and I think my first goal is what I’m all about.
"I think everyone is dreading doing the fist pump at the end but I enjoyed it and it’s about the fans who have travelled. They have been behind us all the way and they deserve it.
“It’s brilliant for the team and it boosts morale going into the next two games.”
