City’s players joined staff from the club and Foundation, local residents, young adults from Mary Knox Education Institute to take part in a litterpick around the Sincil Bank area of Lincoln.
The entire squad took part after training last Thursday, and were supported by club gold partners Ellgia - with their director David Chamberlain and managing director Jack Lavington coming down to take part.
Ellgia, a Lincolnshire-based firm focused on reducing waste and improving recycling, provided tools for the event.
The litterpick is part of the club’s long-standing approach to helping support the community around the LNER Stadium and doing what is possible to reduce its environmental impact.
