Lincoln City Football Club

City propose to offer a Fans’ (Golden) Share to be hosted by the Red Imps Community Trust on behalf of supporters. If agreed by the shareholders at the forthcoming AGM, this will mean the Imps will become one of a very small number of clubs in the English professional game to offer such a provision to its fans.

As detailed in our Fan-Led Review working group update from October 2023, the club and fans' representatives have worked together to consider how the new legislation will impact our club and supporters.

The Fans’ Share was one of seven Fan-Led Review commitments made by the club's board and goes above and beyond the requirements of the imminent independent regulator.

Ahead of City's Annual General Meeting on Thursday 8 February 2024, the club has sent the relevant papers out to all shareholders in preparation for a vote on a special resolution to amend the articles of association of Lincoln City Football Club Company Limited to incorporate the Fans’ Share.
