Jess Ballard has been named Lincoln City’s Community Captain due to her profound impact on the local community.
Jess has played a pivotal role in reshaping our weekly Premier League Kicks daily after-school club, and termly holiday activities and food (HAF) provision.
Through her vision and leadership, she has driven these projects forward, collaborating with at-risk youth to eliminate barriers to their participation in football, sports, and physical activities, therefore improving their overall well-being.
Jess' tireless efforts are focused on mitigating barriers within our ethnically diverse and deprived community.
As the lead project officer for the Foundation's HAF initiative, Jess has organised additional enrichment activities.
Working collaboratively, Jess supports children with additional needs, fostering a collaborative environment that ensures effective support and positive outcomes for all involved.
To mark the award, City player Lasse Sorensen - a regular visitor to Foundation activities - presented Jess with a framed photo, a banner and a Community Captain armband to mark her incredible achievements and contributions to the wider community.
