TJ Eyoma has highlighted the support the squad have received from Michael Skubala since he joined the Imps this week.
The City defender believes the new head coach has instilled a confidence and hopes the supporters will see the benefits on the pitch.
Eyoma said: “He has supported us massively and given us the confidence to play out from the back and build through the thirds. It has been intense as well: he has put us through a lot of running but it’s been good.
“I thought in the first half we will have shown the fans what we are about and hopefully we can keep working hard in training and showing it on the pitch.”
Eyoma is enjoying a run in the side after admitting he had to remain patient for his opportunity.
He added: “I want to get on the pitch so I will play wherever the head coach wants me to.
“It’s been good for me recently, I have had to be patient because the lads have been performing well, but I am here to do a job and hopefully I can keep the shirt.”
