City will head to Notts County in the first round of the Carabao Cup.
First round fixtures are scheduled to take place in the week commencing Monday 7 August.
The Imps matched their best ever run in the competition during 2022/23, reaching the fourth round before losing narrowly at Premier League Southampton.
The 12 Premier League clubs not competing in Europe will join the competition in round two. The eight Premier League sides competing in Europe will then join in round three.
