There are a number of car parking changes that are set to be introduced ahead of 23/24 season, which the club would like to update supporters on.
Permit holder parking in Sincil Bank area
The Sincil Bank area is set for the introduction of permit holder parking from September 2023, covering the residential area from Scorer Street up to Portland Street and from High Street to Canwick Road.
This long-awaited change will have significant benefits for both fans' safety and traffic congestion close to the stadium.
The implementation of the permit holder parking scheme has already begun with markings and signs being installed in the area. The City of Lincoln Council, working in partnership with Lincolnshire Highways, has decided to delay the full implementation until 1 September, which will allow Imps supporters who usually park in these streets more time to find alternative parking solutions.
You can read more about the planned changes HERE.
In light of these changes, it is advisable to avoid the Sincil Bank area and start planning for alternative parking options. The move signifies a positive step towards a safer environment for everyone.
Council car park offers
There are multiple offers in place for parking on matchdays. On Saturdays, season ticket holders will have the opportunity to use a 50% discount when parking at Lincoln Central Car Park, as well as a discount for evening fixtures.
South Common parking
The South Common will be open for parking once again this season, but will now operate with payment by CARD ONLY. One option is booking in advance with a seasonal pass at a cost of £115, or purchasing match-by-match for £6 either in advance or pay by card on the day.
Everyone at Lincoln City is committed to continue working with all stakeholders, particularly the highways division, City of Lincoln Council and Lincolnshire Police to help everyone travel to and from the game safely.
