Mark Kennedy believes his side are stronger following the January transfer window.

The Imps made five signings in total with Harry Boyes, Mide Shodipo, Luke Plange, Dylan Duffy and Ethan Erhahon all coming through the door.

He said: “From day one the goal was to come out of the window stronger than when we started, and we have 100 percent done that.

“Luke Plange is a talented boy and has some great tools. He runs in behind and is a very proactive player who is bright and intelligent.

“League One is all about athleticism and pace, and Ethan Erhahon brings that in abundance. His profile was attractive to us and he has an incredible tactical understanding of his role and position in the team.”

With the new signings in the building Kennedy insists that his side play with more aggression in the final third during the upcoming fixtures.

He continued: “We work so hard on it and spend a lot of time on that in training.

“We have to improve on our final execution and I think we have the players and ability to do that.

“One thing we do want to do going forwards is be more aggressive and be on the front foot more.”
