Nicholsons Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers are marking its 100th anniversary by sponsoring all first-team playing shorts with a commemorative logo.
Much has changed since the business was started in 1923 by John Nicholson, but the firm has always been proud to be more than just accountants.
As a platinum partner of Lincoln City, Nicholsons have collaborated with the club to create some commemorative shorts available for the 23/24 season.
Gail Green, director at Nicholsons Chartered Accountants said: “It is an amazing achievement to have successfully completed 100 years in business. In that time, we’ve not only seen technology change the world, but it’s changed the accounting world too. We’ve always embraced this to ensure we can continue to deliver the best service, with the best technology possible.
“Reaching 100 years is a significant milestone in our history, but it will not change a single thing that we do. Our continued success is because we have the best team who work tirelessly to look after our clients, and we will never lose sight of that.”
Andrew Whitham, City’s director of sales, added: “Nicholsons are longstanding supporters of the club and we are pleased to collaborate with them to mark 100 years since they were first founded.
“It is a huge landmark for them to reach and we are looking forward to working with them through this season and beyond.”
Steve Robinson, director at Nicholsons Chartered Accountants, concluded: “We've worked with Lincoln City Football Club for a number of years, and our anniversary provides the ideal opportunity to look back and reflect upon all that has been achieved.
“The commemorative shorts look fantastic and are a great way to mark this milestone. We’ve not forgotten our roots, but we have some really exciting future plans to look forward to, and I for one can’t wait.”
