City's Academy recently held a workshop with Steve Sallis, founder of Solutions Mindset.
Steve has recently released a book called Educating Football which aims to educate teachers, coaches or parents to help develop mindset within the young footballers they are close to.
The workshop was specifically for parents/carers of our Academy players and was held on 2 March. Steve shared his experience and views to help parents and coaches to be better aligned in how they support the development and well-being of our young football players.
Steve was able to give practical and simple suggestions to help parents to support the work of coaches and make the whole Academy experience more ‘joined up’, putting the young person right at the centre of what we do.
Our parents really enjoyed and valued the workshop and we would like to thank Steve for his time. It was a truly worthwhile experience and highly recommended, many thanks, Steve!
