Last week the Imps announced they would be working to implement recommendations made in Tracey Crouch’s fan-led review, including the creation of a golden share to be held by supporters via a representative body.
Consent of the golden shareholder would be required for the sale of the club stadium, relocation, joining or leaving competitions, club badge design, home colour or club playing name, plus potential other matters currently being considered.
To facilitate this, the club are inviting supporters groups to come together and form a working group to establish a structure to host the golden share and ensure a broad range of the fanbase can influence decision-making.

City are also working with the existing Supporters Board to meet the recommendations of the review, which will see the formation of a Shadow Board in line with the recommendations.
The process is expected to take up to 12 months to implement fully. Progress updates will be shared as appropriate.
