Regan Poole and Amy Kay took part in a special photoshoot as part of Wednesday’s EFL Season Launch.
The pair were pictured in front of the West Front of Lincoln Cathedral, as this summer marks the first time in more than three decades the iconic entrance to the building has been free of scaffolding after renovation work.
As well as the photoshoot and on-camera chats with City’s communications team, the pair were interviewed by ITV Calendar, BBC Look North, BBC Radio Lincolnshire, Lincolnshire Live and Lincs FM about the upcoming season.
Amy, captain of Lincoln City Women, was asked about England’s success in the European Championship - having been at Bramall Lane on Tuesday night for the Lionesses’ incredible semi-final win over Sweden.
She also spoke about the exciting news the women’s team will open their season by playing on the main pitch at the LNER Stadium, as well as the confirmation of the Emerging Talent Centre licence meaning there is now a clear pathway for girls in Lincolnshire right from three-years-old up to the first-team.
