Tom Hopper's goal ensured City opened the 2022/23 season with a point against a well-drilled Exeter side.
Hopper's header levelled Sam Nombe's opening strike, and in the end the Imps were frustrated not to go on and win the game after creating some good openings and controlling the game for much of the second period.
