A pitch inspection will be carried out at 9.30am on Saturday ahead of the Sky Bet League One fixture between Cheltenham Town and the Imps.
The Completely-Suzuki Stadium pitch is currently frozen after temperatures dropped as low as -10c on Thursday night.
The forecast for Friday night is better, with a low of 0C. The temperatures on Saturday are predicted to be higher, with the Met Office forecasting 6C at 2pm.
City will share the outcome of the pitch inspection as quickly as possible via the official website and social media channels on Saturday morning.
