TJ Eyoma is keen to keep making a contribution at both ends of the pitch after popping up with the decisive second goal at Wigan Athletic in midweek.
The centre-back's strike put the Imps 2-0 up on the night, a crucial moment in the match which the visitors went on to win despite the Latics pulling one back in the closing stages.
He said: "I'm happy with my goal and to get off the mark this season.
"My main aim is to keep clean sheets but if I can chip in with a few a season I'll be very happy."
Eyoma feels the squad is really starting to click after a start to the campaign hit by injuries.
He added: "There's a lot of games to be played and it feels like Tuesday night was a big away win as a team and a step in the right direction.
"The main thing is to build on that now. It will be a tough game against Shrewsbury, but hopefully we can play well and get the win."
