Matchday guide: Portsmouth (H)

22 November 2021

Sponsored by

Ahead of the Sky Bet League One fixture with Portsmouth on Tuesday evening, we are able to provide supporters with a guide to plan your visit to the LNER Stadium.

Match theme

The match is dedicated to tackling loneliness, with representatives of Lincolnshire YMCA at the game. Their stall will be positioned in front of the ticket office, with experts on hand to offer advice as well as a bucket collection on the night.

University of Lincoln Fan Village

A variety of different food options will be available for supporters from 5pm. Sausage Grill, Curry Jacks, Love Coffee, the Yellowbelly Sausage Company and the Barbell Burger Co will all be present supplying their locally-sourced delights.

Lincoln City Foundation will be running events for our younger fans, while Tension Twisted Realities will be present with their virtual reality headsets. The Red Imps Community Trust will have their stall including old programmes for sale, with the Former Players Association interviewing former players.

A variety of alcoholic and soft drinks are available.

Food court

There is a brand new food court outside the Selenity Stand which is also available at half-time. Hot drinks are now available.

Tickets

Tickets can be purchased from the ticket office before the match but we strongly reccomend purchasing online at eticketing.co.uk/imps.

Season members can use their e-tickets or season cards. Anyone who has not received their card is asked to contact tickets@theredimps.com as early as possible so an access card can be printed out for collection via the ticket office.

Travelling supporters can purchase tickets in the away end - these must be bought from the ticket office before the game.

Travel

St Barnabas Hospice, the club's official charity partner, will be hosting their annual Torchlight Procession on Tuesday evening which may mean additional traffic in the uphill area of town.

Although this falls at the same time as our match, St Barnabas will have a pre-recorded celebration and live stream of the procession on their Facebook page for all, including Imps fans, to watch at a later date. Imps season ticket holder Steve Norton will be leading the procession in memory of his parents, Margaret and John.

Imps fans can dedicate a light on St Barnabas Hospice's Tree of Life in memory of a loved one at www.stbarnabashospice.co.uk

There are a number of parking options for supporters attending games at the LNER Stadium this season - click here for full details.

Tentercroft Streer (380); Lucy Tower (420); Chaplin Street (45) (midweek fixture offer)

  • Discounted evening tariff after 6pm
  • 50% reduction on price (typical full cost is £3.50 - so cost would be £1.75)

  • The Pay-by-Phone codes are Chaplin Street 7854, Tentercroft St 7840 and Lucy Tower Street 7852.

Audio descriptive commentary now available

13 October 2021

Audio descriptive commentary

The Imps provide a free audio descriptive commentary service for fans with visual impairments. Headsets and receivers can be collected from the ticket office before the game (from the SLO point up to 6.45pm, then from the ticket office desks). Fans are encouraged to bring their own headphones where possible to minimise the amount of equipment needed to be shared - the receivers have a standard aux output. Anyone with questions about the service are asked to contact disability liaison officer Heidi Langham on dlo@theredimps.com.
