Lincoln City Football Club are pleased to be teaming up with local business Collab on Tuesday night as the tech start-up are sponsoring the Imps’ Sky Bet League One match against Swindon Town at LNER Stadium.

Collab Virtual World is an intuitive new platform which enables people to meet up in virtual offices, bars, and sports stadiums. The platform also enables participants to video chat to friends in their group as well as the opportunity to move their emojis between seats, to choose who they wish to speak to.

CEO at Gusto Group, Steff Wright spoke about working with the Imps saying, "Our team at Gusto Homes and Collab are pleased to be supporting the Club as match sponsors for the Swindon game.

"During another fantastic season it is such a shame that fans are unable to take their seats in the stadium. Whilst we can’t bring fans back together in real life, Collab virtual world will be opening our virtual sports bar to enable fans to meet each other virtually in the build-up to the game, and we look forward to hosting the AGM and Fans Forum on Thursday."

Lincoln City FC Partnerships Manager, Adam Chantrey added, "This week we are excited to be working with Lincoln-based tech start up Collab. Firstly we welcome them as our match sponsor for the visit of Swindon Town, and then look forward to using their impressive digital platform to host the AGM and Fans Forum on Thursday night."

Attendance to both the sports bar and stadium ahead of the match versus The Robins is free of charge, Imps supporters can visit the Sports Bar by clicking HERE

The tech group will also be virtually hosting the Annual General Meeting and Fans’ Forum on Thursday 25th February.

Please note that the AGM is only accessible to shareholders and will start at 7pm, however the Fans’ Forum will follow at 8pm. During this meeting, Imps supporters will get the chance to put questions to the extended panel including Michael Appleton and members of the playing squad.

Many supporters will already be familiar with Collab after they welcomed Imps fans into their virtual sports bar for first team matches this season. However, if you are yet to visit the virtual Collab world you are able to do so by clicking HERE.
