We are delighted to welcome left-back Cohen Bramall to LNER Stadium on a permanent transfer from Colchester United for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year-old has signed a multi-year contract with the Imps and will be available for selection in our televised match against Gillingham in Sky Bet League One on Friday 5 February.
Cohen started his career in non-league, signing for Hednesford Town in May 2016, however, his talent was soon spotted by Premier League side Arsenal in January 2017.
After making his Arsenal debut against Sydney FC in a pre-season tour, the defender gained experience during a loan spell with Sky Bet Championship side Birmingham City in August 2017.
Bramall joined Sky Bet League Two side Colchester United in August 2019 and made 32 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring twice whilst registering five assists.
This campaign, the full-back has produced four assists in 25 appearances for the U’s prior to moving to LNER Stadium.
Cohen was thrilled to make the move saying: “I am buzzing, and I can’t wait to get started. When I spoke with the gaffer, he was really positive about the club.
“I’ve played here before and the supporters were great, I can’t wait to show them what I can bring to the side.”
