We are proud to announce that Michael Appleton and Alex Palmer have both received nominations for the monthly Sky Bet EFL awards.
Imps boss Michael Appleton has been nominated for September's Sky Bet League One Manager of the Month Award following a succesful start to the season. Michael comes up against Paul Lambert (Ipswich Town), Grant McCann (Hull City) and Darren Moore (Doncaster Rovers).
Having started the season with four league wins from four, we currently sit top of the Sky Bet League One table, scoring nine goals in the process.
Alex Palmer is also up for an award, with the Imps goalkeeper making the shortlist for September's Sky Bet League One Player of the Month Award. Palmer has featured in all of City's league fixtures this season, playing a vital part in their impressive start.
The goalkeeper comes up against Madger Gomes (Doncaster Rovers), George Honeyman (Hull City) and Joe Pigott (AFC Wimbledon).
All winners will be announced on Friday 9 October 2020.
