Imps’ fans who are travelling over to Bloomfield Road on Friday 27th September are being advised by Lancashire police to depart for the fixture as early as they can as there are a number of events happening in and around Blackpool on the evening of the game which will likely mean a significant delay in their arrival time ahead of kick off.
With the Blackpool illuminations already lit, as well as the World Fireworks Championships taking part that weekend, the level of traffic in the general area and in particular within a mile of the stadium is expected to be extremely high.
So, it is advised that supporters to leave earlier than previously planned to ensure they get to the stadium safely and enter the stadium prior to kick off.
The RedImps Travel Section coaches will now depart at 1.00pm on the day of the game not at 2.00pm as originally advertised, on police advice.
All tickets must be collected at midday on Friday, 27th September - rather than 2pm.
