City’s Academy side take on Notts County this weekend in the EFL Youth Alliance this weekend aiming to end a busy week of games on a high.
Last Saturday, The Imps progressed in the FA Youth Cup after defeating Wrexham at Sincil Bank, setting up a trip to take on Manchester United in round three before then defeating Chesterfield by five goals to one in midweek.
Tom Shaw is looking forward to the game this weekend against County at Riseholme College, he said:
“It’s always a good game against Notts County, there’s just a little something extra in them.”
If you want to come along to see City’s Under 18’s in action this weekend, then why not head up to Riseholme College. The game against Notts County gets underway at 11am on Saturday morning.
