Lincoln City Women take to the pitch in the County Cup this weekend as they aim to get one over Grimsby Borough to progress to the next round on the inaugural Women's Football Weekend.
Richard Cooper's side have been in good form so far this season and progressed to the second round of the FA Cup last weekend, coming from a goal down to beat Leek Town, 2-1, courtesy of goals from Amy Blinkhorn and Abbie Murrell who put City through in Extra Time.
On Women's Football Weekend the FA are encouraging all supporters to attend a women’s football match at any level of the pyramid on the weekend of the 16-17 November and with City against Grimsby Borough on Sunday 17th November, there's never been a better time to catch Lincoln City Women in action.
So, why not get yourself down to the Sun Hat Villas and Resorts Stadium, Ashby Avenue, Lincoln, LN6 0DY, on Sunday for kick off at 2pm.
