There have been two changes to the originally scheduled kick off dates for two of The Imps’ fixtures in the upcoming SkyBet League One season. City’s home fixtures against Shrewsbury Town and Rotherham United at Sincil Bank have both been brought forward just under 24 hours and will now be played on Friday evenings as opposed to the originally arranged Saturday afternoon kick off.
Danny Cowley’s side will now take place on Shrewsbury Town on Friday October 18th with the game getting underway at 7.45PM.
Meanwhile the game against Paul Warne’s Millers team is now scheduled to kick off at 7.45pm on Friday February 7th 2020. *This is subject to either side being involved in cup replays in the week leading up to the fixture.
The Imps are also involved in ongoing conversations with the EFL regarding a further change, potentially affecting the League One clash against Blackpool at Bloomfield Road on the 28th September.
More information will be released on the game against the Seasiders as soon as a decision is reached.
