Lincoln City, working in partnership with Lincolnshire Co-op, are welcoming Junior Imp members and Lincolnshire Co-op junior members to apply to take part in their annual Takeover Day.
On Saturday 22 February 2020 Lincoln City invites those aged between 8-14 years to take the helm and undertake key roles as part of the Gillingham League One fixture at LNER Stadium.
Roles include First Team Manager, CEO, Stadium Manager, Matchday Coordinator, Club Store assistant and many more. A full list of roles is available on our website.
The judging panel will consist of representatives from Lincoln City FC and Foundation, Lincolnshire Co-op and Harry Toffolo, Lincoln City left back and Lincoln City Foundation Ambassador.
Liam Scully, Lincoln City CEO said: “Junior Imps Takeover Day is a fantastic opportunity for younger fans to show off their talents working as key members of the Lincoln City Football Club team. The day will be great fun for all the family and we’re grateful to Lincolnshire Co-op for their help in coordinating this event.”
This year, Lincolnshire Co-op junior members will have the chance to apply for Stadium Manager and Poacher’s Lincoln City supporter squad.
Lincolnshire Co-op Membership Co-ordinator Michelle Dart said: “We’re proud to support the Junior Imps Takeover day and help give young Lincoln City super-fans the chance to step behind the scenes and join the team for a day.
“The applications are always impressive, so we’re excited to see all the entries come in.”
Charlotte Hornsby, Operations Manager at Lincoln City Foundation said: “Those wanting to make an application are encouraged to use their creative flair; we are looking for variety and originality.
“We are hoping to make this day the best Lincoln City Takeover event so far and looking forward to having our young supporters join us on the day.”
