Remembrance Fixture: Crawley Town

25 October 2017

We are delighted to inform you that at Saturday’s fixture against Crawley Town there will be a short service of Remembrance prior to kick off, to remember all service men past and present who have served in Her Majesty’s armed forces.

We will be donating up to 150 free tickets to currently serving Military personnel, who can claim a free ticket in person from the ticket office by producing a current valid military ID card. Tickets are available to collect until kick-off on Saturday.

There will be up to 35 serving personnel from the Royal Logistics Core and the Royal Air Force collecting for the poppy appeal before the match, who will then go on to form a Guard of Honour when the two teams enter the field of play. The Service of Remembrance will be held on the pitch prior to kick off.

The players will be wearing a special printed poppy on their match shirts, and these will be later auctioned off and the money raised will be sent to the Poppy Appeal.

We also have specially commissioned Lincoln City FC poppy pin badges which are on sale from the Club Shop, priced at £3.
