We are delighted to announce the signing of striker Ollie Palmer on a two-year deal.
The 6'5" giant becomes Danny Cowley’s second summer signing following the arrival of fellow front man Matt Green.
The 25-year-old is a player that the Cowley brothers have studied for a period of time after coming through the ranks at Woking.
"He’s a player that we’ve had our eye on for a long time, so he’s a boy we know well," said boss Danny Cowley. "Physically he’s unbelievable, he’s mobile, and has a desire to score goals."
Palmer left Woking for Havant & Waterlooville in 2011, and in his second season scored 25 goals in the National League South which earned him a move to Mansfield Town.
After two seasons there, including a loan spell at Grimsby Town, the Epsom-born forward joined Leyton Orient for an undisclosed fee.
In January last season, he joined Luton Town on loan and played an important part in their promotion push which was ended in the play-offs by Blackpool.
Cowley added: "He gives us an alternative option and gives us the opportunity to switch formation too. He’ll be a great addition to the group."
