Wednesday evening promises to be a highly entertaining occasion when RAF Waddington FC take on a Lincoln City XI, featuring members of City's Youth and First Team squads.

Entry is free for this fundraiser in aid of the RAF Benevolent Fund and Lincoln City Youth Academy's Future Imps Fund, established to ensure the long term sustainability of the Club's youth development programme.

Kick off at Sincil Bank Stadium is 7.00pm with the gates being open from 6.00pm for spectators to enjoy the pre-match entertainment.  Before the game gets underway there will be a Spitfire triple fly-past and entertainment by the RAF Waddington Pipe and Drums and the Waddington Wives Choir.

There will also be a charity raffle with tickets on sale before the match and during the first half.  The draw will take place at half-time.

The prize list is packed with fantastic items including an E-3D Sentry full motion flight simulator experience, a free flying lesson with Waddington Flying Club, a VIP visit to 29(R) Squadron at RAF Coningsby, Red Arrows Limited Edition 2015 Team Protocols, an executive box match experience for 10 people to a Lincoln City home game, signed Lincoln City shirts and match balls and Lincoln City match tickets.

At half-time the Spitfire will return for another triple fly-past and on the pitch a small-sided match between Welton Under 8s and Lincoln City Youth Academy Under 8s will take place.

Event organiser Corporal Trevor Lent would like to thank Lincoln City Football Club, the RAF Football Association, Allen Signs, The Lincolnshire Echo, Quest, RAF Waddington Flying Club, 29(R) Squadron RAF Coningsby, RAF Red Arrows and Lincs FM.
