This Friday, 24 April 2015, Bradford City FC kit man John Duckworth is undertaking a 73 mile walk from Sincil Bank Stadium to Valley Parade...
... to raise funds for The Plastic Surgery and Burns Research Unit at the University of Bradford.
John and some friends will be trekking the 73 miles from the Stacey West Stand to Valley Parade in under 24 hours in memory of the 54 Bradford fans and the 2 Lincoln fans that tragically lost their lives in the Bradford City fire.
It's the 30th anniversary this year and to mark the occasion they've decided to walk from Lincoln, meeting up with Barnsley fans en route, and ending up at Valley Parade before Bradford's final home game against them at the end of the season.
Also joining us on the walk will be some of the Junior Bantams. They will be either walking the five miles from Tong High School or one mile from the city centre.
