Our Youth Team is looking for a Volunteer Minibus Driver for the 2014/15 season.
The Youth Team competes in the Youth Alliance North East Division against clubs which include Hull City, Burton Albion, Scunthorpe United and Doncaster Rovers. Most fixtures are on Saturday mornings but there are also occasional midweek afternoon or evening fixtures and it is anticipated there would be in the region of 20 fixtures where transport will be required throughout the season.
The post is open to job-sharing and it is envisaged that the successful candidate (or candidates) would be available for most or all of these fixtures although this is not a critical requirement of the role.
A more detailed description of duties will be explained at interview but a short summary of skills, experience and personal qualities for this important role include:
• Aged 25 years or over
• Experience of driving a minibus or large vehicle
• Appropriate clean driving license
• Awareness of health and safety issues
• Reliable, patient and friendly personality and good communication skills
An interest in football, Lincoln City and/or youth team football would obviously be of benefit but is not essential.
Lincoln City Football Club is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all accommodation providers to share this commitment. This role involves working with young people and is subject to Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks. The Football Club will pay for these CRB checks.
If you believe you are the kind of person who can fulfil this role and you are interested in discussing the opportunity further please email Youth Academy Director Roger Bates at roger.bates@redimps.com.
The Youth Team's pre-season fixture programme begins in July so we would expect to interview later this month (June).
