Simmons Bags Treble In Youth Team Friendly Success
City's youth team continued their fine pre-season form with a fine footballing display at Collingham FC's ground on Wednesday evening against Newark Town's first team.
Goals from Jordan Harper and Matt Cotton either side of a superb 15 minute-hat trick from Alex Simmons capped an entertaining performance.
The youngsters passed the ball very well on an excellent playing surface and the next stop is Lincoln Moorlands Railway this coming Saturday, August 3rd, with the game kicking off at 4pm.
The Youths, meanwhile, have been drawn away at Bury from the North West Youth Alliance in the first round of the Youth Alliance Cup. The tie will be played on Saturday 5th October 2013.
