The Imps can confirm ticket news for supporters ahead of the Sky Bet League One trip to Bristol Rovers on Saturday 2 September (3pm KO).
Due to renovation work at the Memorial Stadium, Bristol Rovers have only just been able to confirm and send an allocation of tickets to the Imps, which arrived at the LNER Stadium on Friday 25 August.
The Imps have been given an allocation of 500 standing tickets in the uncovered terrace at the Memorial Stadium. The renovation works at the Pirates’ home ground mean there is not currently a seated, undercover area for away supporters.
Due to the limited sales period before the fixture and the allocation exceeding the expected demand, all tickets will go on general sale at 5pm on Friday 25 August.
Tickets for the match will go off sale from the Imps at 9am on Friday 1 September.
Bristol Rovers are working on a solution to provide seating for away supporters, however there is no guarantee it will be available before the Imps fixture.
Bristol Rovers have made a very small allocation of seated tickets for away fans in home areas for anyone who is unable to stand on the terrace for the duration of the game. These can be booked direct via Bristol Rovers’ ticket office on a first come, first serve basis (Tel: 0117 9096648, Tue-Fri - 10am-4pm / Sat 9am - 12pm).
