Andy Hunt  - Senior Lecturer in Sport Therapy / Programme Leader School of Sport and Exercise Science

“The relationship has been developed fantastically over many years enabling a positive working relationship with the club, enabling sports therapy students to gain placement and clinical experience working alongside the medical team at Lincoln city. This has included Academy and First Team players. Jez George and Mike Hine head of medical service, have both been instrumental in developing this partnership, including workshops enabling all students to gain first-hand knowledge and application in professional environment. I along with the Sports Science Team look forward to building upon positive relationships moving forwards”.

“First Team players have been tested in Human Performance Centre. This has included Biomechanics Iso Kinetic Testing and Physiology testing at any part of the season. Players have benefited from these sessions and has built rapport and strong working relationship with the University and Club. Under guidance students provide medial cover for games/ physio treatment”.

“This working relationship has benefited students, ensuring that they are developing their first-hand clinical skills in an elite sporting environment, which complements their area of study”.
